Is there a perfect bourbon

Over the weekend I stumbled upon some videos on YouTube and other sites documenting bourbon production, moonshining and prohibition. They were all very interesting.

Tonight you can catch a documentary on Kentucky Educational Television (KET) “Quest for the Perfect Bourbon, Voices of Buffalo Trace Distillery.”

Tune in at 9 p.m. EDT. There are other broadcasts as well.

The show features interviews with various people from the Buffalo Trace Distillery family, including Elmer T. Lee, Master Distiller Emeritus; and kin of Colone E. H. Taylor Jr, Colonel Albert B. Blanton and Pappy Van Winkle.

The project is out of the Louie B. Nunn Center for Oral History at the University of Kentucky Libraries. The center has been working with Joanna Hay, the director and producer, and Tom Troland, the interview.
